Creamy Crock Pot Hot Chocolate

Hey everyone! This would be a good recipe to put on first thing Christmas morning, and by the time you're done opening gifts, you'll have this delicious cocoa for everyone to enjoy! Too late now, but maybe next year?! And you could still surprise everyone with some on a chilly winter morning, or mix it together after dinner and enjoy a cup snuggled up in front of the fireplace! This recipe is very rich and SOOOOO CREAMY. Top a cup with marshmallows or some whipped cream, and you're set! If you like Hot Chocolate, you'll love this recipe!  Enjoy! New York Cheesecake

Hey y'all! This was my first time making a New York Cheesecake from scratch. This Cheesecake is pretty heavy, which is the reason I wanted to make it. Normal cheesecakes are more fluffy, and  I definitely prefer a more dense cheesecake with that sour cream and actual cream cheese taste. It does not have a crust, which I was a little worried about at first, but the filling is the best part anyway (in my opinion), so I went ahead and tried it. It did not disappoint! With a filling this good, who needs a crust anyway?  I ate this on its own, but you could definitely add cherry pie filling or drizzle chocolate on the top. Yum! The recipe below is the original without any changes. The pictures will show the changes that I made with the pans. If the pictures confuse you, just scroll down to the very bottom to see the recipe without them. This recipe called for a springform pan; I ended up using a tube cake pan.  If you've been cooking for a while, you probably already know the

Hot Spiced Tea

Hey guys! If you like warm tasty beverages on chilly winter days, I've got a recipe for you! We have been making this Hot Spiced Tea for several years now. I think the recipe comes from a church cookbook that my mother-in-law has. She made it for everyone pretty regularly, and since my husband really likes it, it's just something that has stuck and that we mix up in the fall and winter months. Isn't it just so nice to snuggle up on the couch with a warm drink, a fluffy blanket, and the Christmas tree lights on? My favorite! 💗  I made a batch of this a few weeks ago and have been drinking it in the evenings after dinner or occasionally in the mornings in place of the usual coffee. No matter when you drink it, it's DELICIOUS! We put in an Insinkerator instant hot water dispenser in the new house, and I use it constantly! I wasn't sure it would really be worth it, but the husband insisted, and I'm glad that he did. It is so convenient. Boiling water o

Dark Chocolate Cranberry Bundt Cake

Hey everyone! I made this Dark Chocolate Cranberry Bundt Cake the weekend after Thanksgiving. IT WAS SO GOOD! I saw this a few times on my Facebook feed and just had to try it. I love dark chocolate, and with the cranberries I knew that it would be delicious. The chocolate ganache and cranberry sauce just give it that little something special. My cranberry sauce turned out on the tart side, but with the sweetness of the cake and the chocolate drizzled on top, it was a perfect combination!  This cake is good enough to eat on its own.  Or you could make the cake and just the ganache. Or make the cake with just the cranberry sauce. Or do all three together, which is of course what I recommend! I followed the recipe exactly on everything except for the ganache. I was out of heavy cream, so I improvised and made my own with 1/2 cup of half-and-half and about 3 tablespoons of butter. I combined these on the stove top in a small saucepan to make my own. I thought that it turned out great
