Crock Pot Mushroom Roast

Hey friends! I've got a new recipe for you! It's called a Crock Pot Mushroom Roast, but really the only thing mushroom is the Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup that you use. It also has carrots, red potatoes, and onion soup mix. Yum! (Scroll to bottom to see recipe without pictures.) I don't remember where I got the recipe from, but I have been making it for a few years, and it has become one of my husband's favorites. He requests it pretty often in the fall and winter months. Now that it's officially fall, this is the PERFECT dinner for those chilly evenings. (Not that it's chilly here in Arkansas yet. I mean, when I made this the other weekend it was 90 degrees outside.) Just p op a few dinner rolls in the oven right before serving, and you've got yourself an easy, warm, hearty meal great for any night of the week! Enjoy! Crock Pot Mushroom Roast Ingredients: 3 pound roast (chuck or rump) 3 cups of baby carrots 4-5 small red potatoes ...

Slow Cooker Chicken Enchilada Casserole

Hey everyone! Well, how about another slow cooker recipe? I came across this a while back and have been wanting to try it since I regularly make enchiladas in the oven with pretty much these exact same ingredients. The only difference is that I usually use beef instead of chicken, but I wanted to switch things up a bit and try this out with chicken. I used frozen chicken breasts that I defrosted in the microwave. I cooked the chicken and sauce on high for the 4 hours, and it turned out great. The chicken wasn't dry at all because of all of the enchilada sauce. The only thing that I may change next time is that I will try it with flour tortillas instead of the corn, only because the husband isn't a huge fan of the corn. Top this casserole with sour cream, and it's an inexpensive, delicious and EASY meal! Slow Cooker Chicken Enchilada Casserole (Scroll to bottom to see recipe without pictures.) Crock-Pot Cola Roast

Hey everyone!  I know, it's summer and crock-pots aren't supposed to be used in the summer, but I guess I'm a weird-o because in my book a crock-pot is fair game any time of the year. Plus, you only need THREE ingredients for this one! I made this a couple of weeks ago, and the husband loved it. I'm not a huge roast fan, but I'll eat it, and this did have a very good taste to it. We used the "sauce" that was leftover in the crock-pot for dipping the roast into, and it turned out to be a great main dish for dinner. Just add a couple of sides, and you've got yourself a delicious meal, any time of the year! Recipe from:  101 Things To Do With A Slow Cooker Crock-Pot Cola Roast Servings: 4-6 Prep Time: 3 minutes Cook Time: 7-8 hours Ingredients: 3 pound beef roast 1 envelope of dry onion soup mix 2 cans of cola (I used the real deal, Coca-Cola) Directions: 1.) Place roast in greased 4-5 quart slow cooker. 2.) Sprinkle with soup mix. 3...

Hey guys! This recipe is one that I've been making for a while. I found this when searching for recipes for just two people shortly after my husband and I married. If you're cooking for four people, just double the recipe!  These BBQ Pork Chops are SO easy and you only need just a few ingredients! Chocolate Custard Cake

Hey everyone! If you're a chocolate lover like me, this Crock-pot Chocolate Custard Cake is just the thing for you! I think the "sauce" is what really makes this dessert. It reminds me of the Chocolate Lava Cake that I blogged about a little while back, but I actually think that this recipe is better. After delivering some to the in-laws, I received two different texts telling me that they thought it was delicious, and I have to agree. My father-in-law said it may even be "one of the best yet". So if you want, or even need, something warm, gooey, and chocolatey in your life, this is it!  Recipe from: "101 Things To Do With A Slow Cooker" Servings: 6-8 Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 2 - 2 1/2 hours Ingredients Batter: 2 cups of a packaged brownie mix 1 large egg 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil 1/4 cup of water Sauce: 1 cup of hot water 1/2 cup of brown sugar 3 tablespoons of baking cocoa Directions: 1.)
