Cabbage & Sausage Foil Packets

Hey everyone!
Hope you're doing well! I still have a couple of recipes that I tried over Labor Day weekend that I need to share with you!

So this is a new recipe that I came across on Facebook and decided to try out Labor Day weekend. This looked perfect because it's a recipe that you cook on the grill. Since it was on the grill, the hubby even helped. I followed the instructions exactly, and it turned out amazing! This is a really good recipe. You can make the packets and keep them in the refrigerator for whenever you're ready for them.

Just like the crockpot, our grill is used pretty regularly all year long (except when it's REALLY cold). Even though it's almost Fall, it's a warm 92 degrees here in Arkansas today, so the grill is definitely still open for business. We even grilled brats today for lunch! If you don't have or like using a grill, you can cook this in your oven. This is a super easy recipe that is pretty healthy too! Enjoy 🙂

Cabbage & Sausage Foil Packets

Ingredients:
1 pound Polish sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces (or your favorite smoked sausage)
1/2 head of cabbage, cut into 1/2 inch wedges
About 20 small potatoes, quartered
1 small onion, sliced
Garlic butter (store bought or homemade)
Salt & Pepper to taste
4 ice cubes

Directions:
1.) Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2.) Cut four 18 X 12 inch sheets of aluminum foil. Spray with non-stick cooking spray.
3.) Divide cabbage, potatoes, and onion over foil sheets.

4.) Add 1 ice cube to each mound (This helps steam the potatoes.)
5.) Evenly divide sausage between the packets. Top each with 1-2 tablespoons of garlic butter. Add salt and pepper.

6.) Seal each packet well and place on grill (You may need to double wrap to make sure that it doesn't leak when you flip it.)

7.) Grill for 50 minutes, flipping each packet every 15 minutes.

8.) Allow to sit for 10 minutes before opening packets.
9.) Optional: Serve with sour cream. If you don't want to use the grill, bake in oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 35-40 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Enjoy!

Cream Cheese Teddy Graham Dip

Hey y'all! This is a sweet and yummy treat that I have made several times before. I found the recipe a few years ago in a sale paper at a local grocery store. It is SUPER easy....and has cream cheese! The hardest part is putting it in the refrigerator to give it time to cool and harden. This time I did not have any mini chocolate chips on hand, so I used regular sized chips, and they worked just fine! Also, I couldn't decide on which Teddy Grahams to use, so I bought two different kinds for dipping. This would be a great dessert for kids of all ages, or even those of us who are just kids at heart. 💗 🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻 Recipe from: CV's sale paper Total Time: 10 minutes Servings: about 10 Cream Cheese Teddy Graham Dip Ingredients: 8 oz. package of cream cheese 1/2 cup of butter, softened 3/4 cup of powdered sugar 2 tablespoons of brown sugar 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 1 cup of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips Box of Teddy Grahams of your

I found this recipe on the side of an A.1. Original Sauce bottle and gave it a try a few years ago, and it has just kind of stuck! Mocha Punch

Hey y'all! This punch can be customized with any coffee and chocolate ice-cream of your choosing. The original recipe did not call for whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles to be added, but I saw where someone commented that they did this, so I decided to try it. I must say that the punch was awesome by itself, but adding the toppings make it even better! It was soooooo creamy. Plus, who doesn't like chocolate sprinkles? If you have any left over you can even store it in an airtight container in your refrigerator and save for later! I just had a cup of what we had left, and it is still delicious even after the ice-cream has completely melted. This Mocha Punch would be great for a bridal shower, baby shower, birthday party, or even to celebrate the end of the school year! 😉 Enjoy! 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈 Recipe from: "Allrecipes.com" Servings: around 20 small cups Mocha Punch Ingredients: 4 cups of brewed coffee of your choice 1/4 cup of su
