Hey guys!
This recipe is one that I've been making for a while. I found this when searching for recipes for just two people shortly after my husband and I married. I really like "for two" recipes because nothing gets wasted, and I really hate wasting food! It's also a crock pot recipe, which I love. If you're cooking for four people, just double the recipe! These BBQ Pork Chops are SO easy and you only need just a few ingredients!
Recipe from: Pillsbury
Cook Time: 5-6 hours
Servings: 2
Ingredients:
2 boneless pork chop loins (1 inch thick, about 3/4 lb, trimmed of fat)
2 slices of onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup of barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon of water
1 teaspoon of cornstarch
Directions:
1.) Place pork chops in slow cooker. Top each with onion slice. Sprinkle with garlic. Pour barbecue sauce over top.
2.) Cover, cook on LOW setting 5-6 hours.
3.) About 5 minutes before serving, remove pork from slow cooker. Place on plate with onion. Cover to keep warm.
4.) In a glass measuring cup or small microwave safe bowl, blend water and cornstarch until smooth. Pour juices from slow cooker into cornstarch mixture. Mix well. Microwave on high 1-2 minutes or until mixture boils and thickens slightly, stirring halfway through.
5.) Serve pork chops with sauce.
