Strawberry Pizza

Hey guys!

I wanted to share this Strawberry Pizza recipe with you because it is something I make fairly often. It is a "pizza" because it has layers and a strawberry topping. I got this recipe several years ago from the wife of one of my husband's co-workers. It is really one of my favorite desserts, especially during summer. I LOVE the buttery Pecan Sandie® crust, and the top strawberry jello/vanilla pudding mixture is DELICIOUS. This would make a GREAT treat to make to celebrate the Fourth of July this coming week! You could even throw some blueberries on top to get your festive red, white, and blue! 



Strawberry Pizza
Servings: 24
Total Time: around 30 minutes

Ingredients:
Fresh Strawberries

Crust:
1 package of Pecan Sandies®
1 stick of melted butter


Middle Layer:
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
8 oz. package of cream cheese
1 tub of a whipped topping


Top Layer:
1 small box of instant vanilla pudding mix
1 small box of strawberry Jello 
1/2 cup of sugar
2 cups of water
1 tablespoon of margarine


Directions:
I like to prepare the top layer first, then crust, and the middle layer last. I prepare the middle layer while top and crust are cooling.  Let the top layer and crust cool almost completely before combining all layers to make the "pizza".

Crust:
1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 
2.) Crush package of Pecan Sandies®. I like to break them up with my fingers then use a potato masher to get small crumbs.


3.) Melt stick of butter.
4.) Mix Sandies® and stick of butter. Press mixture into 9 X 13 glass dish to create crust. 
5.) Bake in oven 15-20 minutes.
6.) Let cool.


Middle Layer:
1.) Combine softened cream cheese, softened whipped topping, and powdered sugar with mixer until smooth.


Top Layer:
1.) Combine water, vanilla pudding mix, jello, and sugar in medium saucepan on stove top. Whisk while bringing mixture to a boil. 
2.) Once boiling, whisk in tablespoon of margarine. 
3.) Remove mixture from heat and let cool.


Creating Pizza:
1.) Make sure crust and top layer have cooled.
2.) Add middle layer to crust.


3.) Add top layer.


4.) Cool in refrigerator until jello mixture has set.
5.) Top with fresh strawberries.

Hey everyone! Here's a recipe that I make fairly often. I'm not a huge fan of meatloaf really. This is more for the husband than anything, but this meatloaf has such a good flavor that I will eat it. I found this recipe on the side of an A.1. Original Sauce bottle and gave it a try a few years ago, and it has just kind of stuck! Mocha Punch

Hey y'all! This punch can be customized with any coffee and chocolate ice-cream of your choosing. The original recipe did not call for whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles to be added, but I saw where someone commented that they did this, so I decided to try it. I must say that the punch was awesome by itself, but adding the toppings make it even better! It was soooooo creamy. Plus, who doesn't like chocolate sprinkles? Slow Cooker Shepherd's Pie

Recipe from: "101 Things To Do With A Slow Cooker" Prep Time: 10-15 minutes Cook Time: 5-6 hours Servings: 4-6 Ingredients: 1 pound of ground beef, browned and drained 1 can (15 oz.) of whole kernel corn, drained 1 can (15 oz.) of French cut green beans 2 cups of instant mashed potatoes, prepared 2 cups of grated cheddar cheese 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil Salt and Pepper Directions: 1.)
