Recipe from: Healthy Pets with Dr. Karen Becker
Ingredients:
8 ounces of pure water
4 ounces of organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
10 drops of Neem Oil
You can also add in essential oils that will help with deterring pests. Add 5 drops of each essential oil.
For dogs add:
Eucalyptus
Lemongrass
Citronella Oil
Rosemary
(Do not add essential oils if using on cats.)
Directions:
1.) Pour all of the ingredients into a spray bottle. Optional: add essential oils.2.) Shake bottle well to mix.
3.) Spray liberally onto your dog right before going outside. This mixture will last up to 4 hours once on your dog.
4.) After using, store mixture in refrigerator.

This "recipe" does not make a very large amount, so you may want to double it if you plan on using regularly. You will definitely want to double it if you have a large dog or multiple dogs. |
