Hawaiian Ham and Cheese Sandwiches
Ingredients:
1 large onion
Poppy seeds
1 stick of butter
Dijon mustard
Worcestershire sauce
1/2 lb. deli shaved ham
7-8 slices of Swiss cheese
1 pack of original King's Hawaiian® Sweet Rolls
Directions:
1.) Finely chop or grate onion
2.) In skillet, melt stick of butter on medium heat
3.) Add onion, 3 teaspoons of poppy seeds, 3 tablespoons of
mustard, and 2-3 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until onion is
soft
4.) Take pack of rolls and cut length wise, in half
5.) Line 9 X 13 pan with aluminum foil
6.) Place bottom parts of rolls on foil. Top bottom of rolls with
ham and cheese. Add 3/4 of onion mixture to top of cheese
7.) Add roll tops and pour rest of mixture over tops
8.) Cover top of pan with sheet of foil and bake at 350 degrees
Fahrenheit 20 mins
(You may skip the oven and microwave sandwiches, but they turn out
much better in the oven.)
Enjoy!
