Easy Crock-Pot Orange Chicken

Hello, friends! Happy Monday! This is a SUPER easy orange chicken recipe that I have made several times. It is also a crock-pot recipe, so that makes it even better! Don't you just love those crock-pot recipes? It always turns out great.  I usually serve this over white rice. Right now my favorite white rice is Nishiki® premium grade rice that I steam in my Aroma® Professional Rice Cooker. Yes, we eat so much rice in this house that we have a rice cooker. We actually purchased the smaller version of this cooker first because of the awesome reviews that it had on Amazon. Unfortunately, the heating element went out after a few months so we decided to replace it and upgraded to the larger size. So far, so good with this rice cooker. Recipe adapted from 'The Frugal Girls' Easy Crock-Pot Orange Chicken Servings: 4 Prep time: 5 mins Cook time: 3 1/2 - 6 1/2 hours Ingredients: 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, thawed 3/4 cup Sweet Baby Ray's® Original BBQ

Connie's Chocolate Gravy

Hey y'all! Are you ready for the most delicious chocolate gravy that you have ever tasted?! If so, read on my friends. The first time I had this gravy was when I first started dating my husband. I'm sure I had tried chocolate gravy before this, but this is the recipe I have had for the last 10 years, and it is definitely my favorite. My mother-in-law gave me this recipe, and she got it from her mother-in-law, so it is essentially my husband's grandma's recipe.   This recipe makes around 4 servings. I usually cut this recipe in half since it is usually only for my husband and myself. I also usually use a little less sugar than it calls for, as it is pretty sweet. If you love gravy AND chocolate, this is the perfect weekend breakfast for you. I serve it over warm biscuits with a glass of milk and it is DIVINE.  🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛 Connie's Chocolate Gravy Servings: 4 Cook time: 10 minutes Ingredients: 1 stick of butter 4 tablespoons of

Welcome to My Blog! And Lembas Bread!

Hey Guys!!!  I decided to start a food blog to share recipes of things I have been making for a little while and to share new recipes that I come across and try. I'm not a chef or photographer, but I enjoy cooking/baking as well as taking photos so I thought that a blog with both of these would be fun! I'm all about things being simple, so most recipes you will find here are easy-peasy ;)  I hope you enjoy! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 This week has been Spring Break so I've been inspired to finally cook some new things! My husband sent me a link to this recipe April 22, 2016 (almost a year ago) asking me to make this Lord of the Ring's Lembas Bread. Where did 2016 go?!?! I told him I would, and I kept my promise (almost a year later). Anyway, I didn't have the banana leaves on hand (who does?), but I had all of the other ingredients in the pantry, except the heavy cream. I actually purchased it last week. Yes, I planned ahead! Enjoy 🙂 (Adapted from Al
